K so I’m watching the promo for Transformers the movie and I’m so excited. Honestly the Transformers cartoon was my favorite. I unfortunately don’t remember much about it and with the beginning of Beasties (which sucked so bad) I lost touch. So excited…now I think about this don’t you wish that we could be transformers. Like I’m not trying to be deep and inspirational with this, but honestly who wouldn’t love to be something at one time and then just be able to completely change and have a new set of “powers”. K so anyways we as people are actually obsessed with being who we are not. we constantly want to change who we are. Whether we dress ourselves up, or drink ourselves to the floor or sell ourselves to every guy, girl or anyone that will pay attention, it comes down to us trying to run from who we think that we are. The truth is that we are children of God. The creator of this whole universe, the air, the sea, the mountains, the trees, and us people created us in his image. His Breathe is breathed into us and allows us to be here. I think that possibly the biggest lie that we as people believe is that we are not special, amazing beautiful people. Now I know we screw up and I know that we are not perfect but honestly when God says that he made us in his image and that he calls us his children we must know that we do not need to run from who we are. If there is anything that I would love for my son to have it’s the confidence to know that he can do whatever he wants to, and that he is beautiful, smart and strong. He never has to hide who he is or “transform” himself into something he is not because who he is, was hand picked by the creator of this universe. Hope this makes sense cause it’s late and I’m very tired. Later…
